Try these Japanese Recipes with your sushi

Now that you've learned how to create the perfect California Roll and other tasty sushi, your next question is probably: "What about the side dishes?"

If I were a betting man, I'd say you probably want a tasty bowl of miso soup to go along with your sushi. That's reasonable, but expand your horizons with these easy-to-make Japanese recipes:

  • Kombu seaweed recipe
  • Crispy Gingered Pickle
  • Edamame
  • Chilled Tofu
  • Wakame Seaweed Salad
  • Miso Soup

You might want to try and make one or two of these side dishes to go with your sushi.

Tip: It's not really a good idea to heap your sushi, seaweed salad and Japanese pickles all on the same plate. Place each item on an attractive plate or bowl. More on this latter.

Of course, you'll need a delicious drink to add to your meal. These usually include:

  • Japanese green tea
  • Sake

I'll be adding more sushi side dish ideas soon, so keep checking back. I can only type so fast!
